Yes, you can have peace of mind that Flock's commercial drone insurance is EC785/2004 compliant and CAA approved.
What does that mean?
The CAA states that commercial drone operators need to obtain insurance that meets the requirements detailed in EC Regulation 785/2004. This includes cover for: acts of war, terrorism, hijacking, acts of sabotage, unlawful seizure of aircraft and civil commotion.
It also requires that commercial drone operators carry third-party liability insurance at the time of flight. The Flock Cover app offers commercial operators flexibility as they can customise their liability limits from £1-10M on a per flight basis.
Training policies have a fixed liability limit of £1M. As soon as you get your PfCO, you can upgrade to a commercial operator account in the app; unlocking flexible liability limits.
