When inputting the policyholder name to get your Flock Cover Note, it's important that the name you enter matches the name of the legal entity that is applying for the PfCO (the legal entity can be an individual or a company).

If the two do not match, you will have to resubmit your application with a new Cover Note.

The CAA provides the following guidelines for accepted policyholder names:

Sole traders:

Applicant name:
John Smith
or

John Smith Trading As JS Media Drones

Accepted policyholder name on Cover Note :
John Smith
or

John Smith Trading As JS Media Drones

Unaccepted policyholder name on Cover Note :
JS Media Drones.
Reason: This is because this name does not include the name of the legal entity applying for the PfCO- 'John Smith'.

Limited Companies

Applicant name:
Jones Logistics Limited.
or
Jones Logistics Limited Trading As Jones Transport Services

Accepted policyholder name on Cover Note :
Jones Logistics Limited
or
Jones Logistics Limited Trading As Jones Transport Services

Unaccepted policyholder name on Cover Note :
Jones Transport Services.
Reason: This is because this name does not include the name of the legal entity applying for the PfCO- 'Jones Logistics Limited'. (The CAA also states that the limited company name must match what is registered on Companies House).
